HF Equestrian are very keen to help some of our hard working local riders achieve success in their chosen fields. In choosing riders to support we looked for people that like us were dedicated to their sport and worked hard to achieve success at their chosen level. Following the recent application and selection process we can confirm we will be sponsoring the following riders in 2012.

Sarah-Jane Brown

Sarah-Jane is an amateur event rider based just outside Redruth. She has produced her top ride Sarnita from Intro level to double clear at Advanced. She has competed abroad and been short listed for the European CIC** Team. She currently has two rides for the 2012 season the experienced Sarnita and a novice Venette who she is hoping to upgrade to intermediate.

Jonathan and Jenna Payne

Jonathan and Jenna Payne breed and show quality native ponies from their base at Trekerwys Stud just outside St Day. Their 2012 team consists of Blaegwen Lampard – Welsh Cob Stallion. Dunkery Tawney Owl – Exmoor stallion. Dunkery Shrike – Exmoor gelding. Trekerwys Sweet William- Welsh Cob Mare plus new addition Tawbitts Golden Toffee Two – exmoor filly foal.

Mollie Trethewey

Mollie Trethewey is a talented 16 year old from Bodmin. She has had a very succesful career with ponies and is now hoping to reproduce that form with horses. Her current horse is Rainman II a five year old she has only had for a few months but is already developing a good a partnership.

Grace Boulton

Grace Boulton has just completed her first season BE with

her horse Tweedle Dum winning foundation points and are hoping to continue the good form in 2012. We think they are the furthest South Westerly combination currently competing at British Eventing.

Rika and Livvy Nile

We could not support other local talents without acknowledging we have two very talented hard working family members that also need our support.

Rika is currently without horse but is a key member of the HF team both assisting with the business and working hard in the yard at home looking after and exercsing the residents.

Livvy is currently a working pupil with Joanne Rimmer in Dorset. She will be taking part in the South West Young Rider training this year with her talented mare Rock Bunny and has applied to be considered for the CIC** European Team.
