Conditions of Bit Trial
1. Pricing and payment - All bits are priced individually on the website and this must be paid in full with the appropriate postage and packing at the time of ordering before a bit can be sent out. All payments must be cleared before the bit is sent out. It is recommended for safety and speed that all payments are made through Paypal.
2. Cancellation of Purchases - The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 gives you the right to change your mind and cancel an order within seven working days from receipt of the goods. It is in your own interest to do this in writing or by email. Under these regulations you are allowed to open and examine the goods but you must not use them or try them in any way. Any signs of use means that you forfeit the right to a refund under these conditions. It is your responsibility to return the goods at your own cost and you will not be entitled to a refund of the original postage and packaging costs.
3. Trial - The trial itself will be for 21 days from the date of purchase and the bit must be returned within this time for the full refund to be processed. Bits that are returned after this date will be subject to further trial charges without exception. The bit must be returned in good clean condition with all the original labels and packaging or you will be subject to further trial charges. You must make it clear at the time of purchase that you wish to have the bit on trial so that the correct paperwork can be sent. Bits may not be accepted for return if this is not made clear. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the bit if you do not wish to buy it. You will also be responsible for making sure the bit is returned safely, so it is therefore recommended that you register the parcel by Special Delivery on return as HF Equestrian cannot be held responsible if the goods do not arrive back safely.
4. Cost of Trial - £5 will be deducted from your refund provided all the conditions listed here have been kept. Please note that you may receive a bit that is ex-trial if we do not have the bit you require in the right size. Please tell us if you do not want this to happen. We will give you the chance to have the bit replaced by a new one as soon as the delivery arrives.
5. Cleaning the Bit - Your bit should be returned in good clean condition. Please wash your bit in warm soapy water to remove all debris. We will disinfect the bit on return to prevent the spread of any infections. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any infections or diseases that appear after the use of one of our bits, new or used.
