The Bit Exchange Bank

We are pleased to introduce our Bit Bank.

This means that you have the opportunity to try a bit and return it
from a hire charge starting at £5.00.  This is especially useful when certain
bits can be quite expensive and may not be the correct bit for your
horse or pony.

We also keep a supply of new and second hand bits for which we
are happy to sell part exchange, swap or sell on a commission basis.
Commission is 10% of the price of the bit less any expenses occurred
during the sale.

We can also offer a mobile bitting clinic in our surrounding area
where we will be happy to come with a selection of bits for you to
try.  Cost of this will be dependent on distance.

This may be particularly useful for those local to us or we are happy
if you want to post your bit to us.

Keep an eye out for our bitting clinics which will be held at various venues.


Due to the turnover of our bits which changes daily not all the bits
will be listed on the website so please email or ring to see if we
have  what you are looking for. We will always try and get one if
we don't have it.  There also may be the occasional time when a bit
listed is out of stock as we may have sold it and not been quick
enough to remove it from the website, so you may have to bear with
us whilst we replace it which of course may be dependent on our
suppliers.

All exchange bits will be subject to a standard charge of £2.

Bits taken on through the Bit Bank are paid for up front and can be returned
within 21 days as long as they are in good condition and with all their original
labels and packaging. It is advised that they are returned by registered post
as we cannot be held responsible for any bits that go missing in the post and
will therefore unable to refund your money if they don't arrive.  A trial charge
will than be deducted from the refund which can be found on the Conditions of
Trial page.  This is dependent on the cost of the bit itself.

We are able to supply all Neue Schule, Myler and Abbey and many others
to order so if there is a particular bit you would like to try which is not on our website please let us know.
